Annie Laird is 39, she is PA to Regional (Scotland) Managing Director, Speedy Asset Services, currently a full time curler.

She is alternate in the GB women's team. Her curling career highlights include winning the World Women's Championship in 2002, skipped by GB team mate Jackie Lockhart. She was Scottish Women's Champion in 2002, 2004, 2008 and 2009.
