GB TEAMS AT SCOTTISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

The round robin stage of the Bruadar Scottish men's championship and the Columba Cream Scottish women's Championship will be played at Dewar's Rinks, Perth this week.

The ten men's team have their first game at 3p.m. on 27th January while the eight women's teams start their round robin at 9a.m. on the 28th.

Because of the Olympics the page playoffs, semi finals and finals will be played on the weekend 5th - 7th March.

The winners will go on to represent Scotland at the Ford World Women's Championship in Swift Current, Canada 20th - 28th March and the Capital One World Men's Championship in Cortina, Italy, 3rd - 11th April 2010.

GB's Paralympic team will also be in action in Perth this week. They'll be playing in an international event featuring teams from Norway, Switzerland, Germany and Sweden.

Games start at 9 a.m. on Friday 29th March and run though to Sunday at 4p.m.
