Ever since I was born I spent a lot of my time in ice-rinks in the winter as dad was always playing.
I had my first go at the age of nine in Pitlochry and I have curled ever since.
At the age of 13 I skipped a junior team through to the junior final (youngest skip to do this) The next two seasons I played vice skip for Jennifer Morrison and Sarah Reid coming 3rd on both occasions.
In 2007 still playing with Sarah Reid we won the Scottish Junior Championship, then went on to win world gold beating Canada in the final.
At the age of 17 I skipped my own team to win the Scottish Juniors, going on to win world gold again in Sweden in2008, I won World Junior Gold again in Vancouver in 2009.
I also won the Scottish mixed championships in 2007.
In May 2008 I was selected for the GB Olympic squad.
I golf in the summer and have represented Scotland for Scottish school girls and also county team, I currently play of a handicap of 4.
I’m also a piper and play in the Pitlochry and Blair Atholl pipe band but unfortunately had to give up competing due to curling commitments.
