What’s the role?
We are hoping to employ up an Apprentice Technical Coach on a full-time or part-time basis – individuals who have the energy, the mindset and the ability to learn a trade – coaching elite curling athletes! We anticipate these roles starting with technical coaching day to day at the National Curling Academy, with the potential to grow into team and competition coaching as development continues.
How will it work?
We will expect you to attend the National Curling Academy for the majority of your contracted hours. They are likely to include significant afternoon, evening and potentially weekend work, with probability that some morning windows will be utilised to observe and assist at coaching sessions led by your mentor.
What’s the package?
For a full-time role, we envisage a salary of circa £24k per annum. British Curling offers a generous staff pension (10% contribution for a 6% staff member contribution). Part time roles will be paid pro-rata.
