British Curling Vacancy – Digital Communications Officer

Location: National Curling Academy, The Peak, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ
Contract Type: Full Time – 12 month fixed term – both part-time and full-time applicants will be considered.
Salary: £21 - £23k
Responsible to: Media and Communications Manager

British Curling – the performance focused organisation that runs the elite curling programmes for GB and Scotland is looking for a creative pro-active, self-starter and team player with experience and competence using a range of social media platforms, who is passionate about our curling programme and can help support our strategy to grow our presence and brand in the digital space.  

This is an exciting new post and an ideal fit for an innovative digital communicator with the skill-set to help engage, inform and inspire, who can grow our vision and play a pivotal role in highlighting our ambitious journey in promoting the world class podium success of our Olympic and Paralympic team.  

The role requires a commitment to being based in/near Stirling, Scotland and may include a need for travel to events both domestically and internationally, with occasional evening and weekend work.
