Vacancy: Pathway Manager-Olympic

Striving to be better never stops and we are looking to recruit someone with the ambition and vision to help shape the future of one of the UK’s most successful Winter Olympic sports.

Working with world class, young and energised athletes in the National Curling Academy should never feel like coming to work and we want the successful candidate to help pave the pathway to Olympic glory by winning well and performing when it counts.

The race is on for Milan Cortina and beyond, be part of our pathway helping our future Olympians fulfil their ambitions and live their dreams.

The role

This is an interesting and varied role with a 60/40 split between programme management and coaching with teams and individuals, while helping to provide a joined up pathway from the Scottish Curling Academy through to the Olympic programme. In addition, the successful candidate will be encouraged to contribute to the world class programme’s strategy and the what it takes to win (WITTW) programme, as a member of the organisation’s senior leadership team (SLT).  

The base

Largely based at the state of the art National Curling Academy in Stirling, a collaborative mindset and a flexible approach to working hours is required as this role will include evening and regular weekend work with some international travel.

The package

This is a full time role with a salary of circa £35k per annum and British Curling offers a generous staff pension and other benefits.
