Movement and co-ordination moderately affected in the lower trunk and legs
Movement or co-ordination affected in the legs to a moderate degree
Unilateral above knee amputation and a loss of muscle strength in the other leg
Unilateral hip disarticulation
Bilateral above ankle amputation

  • Loss of Power
  • Restriction of Movement
  • Lower Limb Deficiency
  • Hypertonia
  • Incoordination
  • Combination of Impairment

Non Eligible Impairments

  • Pain
  • Impaired cardiovascular functions
  • Hearing impairment
  • Impaired respiratory functions
  • Low muscle tone
  • Impairment metabolic functions
  • Hypermobility of joints
  • Tics and mannerisms, stereotypes and motor perseveration
  • Joint instability
  • Impaired muscle endurance
  • Impaired motor reflex functions

Non Eligible Health Conditions

Health conditions that:
  • Primarily cause pain (e.g. myofascial pain-disfunction syndrome, fibromyalgia or complex regional pain syndrome)
  • Primarily cause fatigue (e.g. chronic fatigue syndrome)
  • Primarily cause joint hypermobility or hypotonia (e.g. Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome)
  • Are primarily psychological or psychosomatic in nature (e.g. Conversion Disorders, PTSD, Functional Neurological Disorders)
